The iPhone 6s is a smartphone developed and designed by Apple Inc. It was first released in September 2015, as the successor of the iPhone 6. The iPhone 6s features a similar design as the iPhone 6, but with upgraded specs and new features.
The iPhone 6s features a 4.7-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels. It was powered by Apple A9 chip, which was a 64-bit 1.84GHz dual-core ARMv8-A processor and PowerVR GT7600 GPU, with 2GB of RAM. It came with either 16GB, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage and it did not have a microSD card slot. The iPhone 6s featured a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It also had a built-in accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor. It also included a Touch ID fingerprint sensor and was the first iPhone to feature 3D Touch display technology.
The iPhone 6s ran on the iOS 9 operating system at launch and was upgradable to iOS 14. It was available in Silver, Gold, Space Gray and Rose Gold color options.
