Details: The display is 4.7 inches (diagonal). The glass front is flat with curved edges. The back is glass, and there's an anodized aluminum band around the frame. The side button is on the right side of the device. The device has a solid-state Home button with Touch ID. There's a Quad-LED True Tone flash on the back and a SIM tray on the right side that holds a "fourth form factor" (4FF) nano-SIM card. The IMEI is etched on the SIM tray.

The iPhone 8 features a 4.7-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels. It was powered by Apple A11 Bionic chip, which was a 64-bit Hexa-core (2x Monsoon + 4x Mistral) 2.39GHz processor and Apple GPU (three-core graphics) with 2GB of RAM. It came with either 64GB or 256GB of internal storage and it did not have a microSD card slot. The iPhone 8 featured a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 7-megapixel front-facing camera. It also had a built-in accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor. It also included a Touch ID fingerprint sensor and was the first iPhone to support wireless charging.
The iPhone 8 ran on the iOS 11 operating system at launch and was upgradable to iOS 14. It was available in Silver, Gold, Space Gray color options.
