The iPhone SE (1st generation) is a smartphone developed and designed by Apple Inc. It was first released in April 2016, and it was considered as a budget version of the iPhone. It is also considered as a spiritual successor of the iPhone 5s, as it has similar design and specs.

The iPhone SE features a 4-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 640 x 1136 pixels. It was powered by Apple A9 chip, which was a 64-bit 1.84GHz dual-core ARMv8-A processor and PowerVR GT7600 GPU, with 2GB of RAM. It came with either 16GB, 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, and it did not have a microSD card slot. The iPhone SE featured a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera. It also had a built-in accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor. It also included a Touch ID fingerprint sensor, and it was the first iPhone to support Live Photos.

The iPhone SE ran on the iOS 9.3 operating system at launch and was upgradable to iOS 14. It was available in Silver, Gold, Space Gray, and Rose Gold color options.
