The iPhone XS is a smartphone developed and designed by Apple Inc. It was first released in September 2018, as the successor of the iPhone X. The iPhone XS features a similar design as the iPhone X, but with upgraded specs and features.
The iPhone XS features a 5.8-inch Super Retina OLED display with a resolution of 1125 x 2436 pixels. It was powered by Apple A12 Bionic chip, which was a 64-bit Hexa-core (2x Vortex + 4x Tempest) 2.49GHz processor and Apple GPU (four-core graphics) with 4GB of RAM. It came with either 64GB, 256GB or 512GB of internal storage and it did not have a microSD card slot. The iPhone XS featured a 12-megapixel dual rear-facing camera system (wide-angle and telephoto lenses) and a 7-megapixel front-facing camera. It also had a built-in accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor. It also included a Face ID facial recognition technology instead of Touch ID fingerprint sensor.
The iPhone XS ran on the iOS 12 operating system at launch and was upgradable to iOS 14. It was available in Space Gray, Silver, and Gold color options.
